USE OF COOKIES
1. What are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files generated by the websites visited by the user, which keep session data that could be used later on the site. The data allows the site to keep user information between pages and also to analyze the way in which the user interacts with the site.
Cookies are safe - they can only store the information that is entered by the browser, relating to access in the browser itself or that is included in the requested page. They cannot be transformed into codes and cannot be used to access the user's computer. If a website encrypts the information in the cookie, only the website can read the information.
2. What are the main types of cookies?
Below is a brief description of the main types of cookies:
Session and Persistent Cookies
Session Cookies, which contain information that is used in your current browser session. These cookies are automatically deleted when you close your browser.
Persistent Cookies (PHPSESSIONID type), which are used to maintain the information that is used in the period between accesses to the website, or used for technical purposes and to improve navigation on the site. This data allows sites to recognize that you are an already known user or visitor and adapt accordingly. "Persistent" cookies have a duration that is set by the website and that can vary from a few minutes to several years.
First-party and third-party cookies
First-party cookies, which belong to the site that created them.
Third-party cookies, which are created by domains external to the site and whose data are stored at the third party.
Technical and profiling cookies
Technical cookies, which are those used for the sole purpose of carrying out the transmission of a communication over an electronic communications network, or as strictly necessary for the provider of an information society service explicitly requested by the subscriber or user to provide this service (see Article 122, paragraph 1, of the Privacy Code). They are not used for other purposes and are normally installed directly by the website owner or manager. These include, for example, functionality cookies, which allow the user to navigate according to a series of selected criteria (for example, the language, the products selected for purchase) in order to improve the service rendered.
Cookie Analytics are assimilated to technical cookies when used directly by the site manager to collect information, in aggregate form, on the number of users and how they visit the site.
Profiling cookies, which are designed to create profiles relating to the user and are used in order to send advertising messages in line with the preferences expressed by the user while surfing the net. Due to the particular invasiveness that such devices may have in the private sphere of users, European and Italian legislation provides that the user must be adequately informed about their use and thus express their valid consent.

The session cookies used on this Site avoid the use of other IT techniques that are potentially prejudicial to the confidentiality of users' browsing and do not allow the acquisition of the user's personal identification data. At any time, the user can delete cookies from their system, in different ways depending on the browser used, or set their browser not to accept cookies and disable javascript. In this case, however, the correct functioning of all the tools that our site makes available to you is not guaranteed, including the possibility of sending messages, booking requests or subscribing to the newsletter.
